THOR-AV-50M
- Standard ATD 478-0000-PR
The newest generation of our iconic THOR dummy is the THOR-AV 50M, which evolved from the THOR-50M and features progressive design elements to better represent the human form in crash scenarios, particularly those involving AV seating environments. Instrumentation has also been overhauled to provide improved data collection.
THOR-AV-50M development started in 2019. Since then, the dummy has undergone hardware prototyping, biofidelity testing, performance evaluation in the customer AV environment, dummy evaluation and development of injury criteria. Evaluations by NHTSA and NCAP organizations have already taken place and will continue to be carried out. The prototype dummies are available for sale, lease and rent.
