American Center for Mobility Signs MOU with Humanetics to Offer Solutions for Testing Advanced Driver Assistance (ADAS) and Automated Driving Systems (ADS)

Ypsilanti and Farmington Hills, MI, USA April 14, 2021 – Michigan companies American Center for Mobility (ACM) and Humanetics have entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to offer Humanetics active safety test equipment for use by customers at the ACM Smart Mobility Test Center in Ypsilanti. Humanetics, headquartered in Farmington Hills, is a global leader in both active and passive safety testing solutions, while ACM provides world-class infrastructure and advanced technology for development, testing and showcasing of next generation mobility solutions. Humanetics will collaborate with ACM in developing customized testing packages for ACM’s customers.

With the combined technologies and expertise, the two organizations are uniquely positioned to solve the complex testing challenges of current and future NCAP driving scenarios. Their relative proximity allows them to easily share resources and conduct joint research for the development of new ADAS/ADS test protocols. By joining their respective competencies, ACM and Humanetics can better support their customers in the development and testing of the ADAS and Automated Driving Systems. Humanetics advanced testing equipment can also be utilized in test demonstrations and to showcase various mobility technologies.
