The Driving Robot stands at the forefront of vehicle testing technology, offering an unparalleled blend of compact design and precise control. Designed to navigate the complexities of modern vehicle testing, the Driving Robot ensures that your test vehicle can be maneuvered around the test track with unmatched accuracy in position, velocity, and acceleration. Its slim central stand eliminates the need for struts to the passenger windshield, keeping the trunk free for essential data acquisition equipment, thus revolutionizing space utilization and installation ease.

SEAMLESS INTEGRATION AND CONTROL

Installation of the Driving Robot is a breeze, requiring no dismounting of the airbag or steering wheel. This means the vehicle retains all its safety features without necessitating special training for the installation team. The design prioritizes the comfort and safety of the operator, offering a clear view of the proving ground and maintaining a comfortable seating position. The robot turntable, installed behind the vehicle’s steering wheel, can be easily controlled by the operator's grasp, allowing for immediate manual takeover in emergencies, ensuring the occupant's safety is never compromised.

Characterized by its smart hardware design, the Driving Robot promises simple, quick installation and self-calibration software for fast, effortless start-up. The Driving Robot Box, an embodiment of robustness and convenience, houses all electronic components and easily installs with ISOFIX in the rear seats. This design not only facilitates easy access for test engineers but also supports extensive room for electronics and data acquisition systems.

Advanced Testing Capabilities

Approved for NCAP scenarios and TB38, it includes an AVAD integration, highlighting its compliance with the highest safety standards. It’s fully compatible with the UFO target carrier environment, utilizing the same intuitive UFObase Software for a unified operation experience. Whether conducting LKA scenario tests or needing active steering intervention, the adjustable friction compensation mode offers four levels of customization for precise scenario replication.

As part of the UFO product family, the Driving Robot shares the UFObase Software, ensuring no learning curve for additional software. It enables the control, management, and analysis of multiple UFOs and/or Driving Robots for swarm testing from a single computer. This feature underscores the Driving Robot's capability to conduct fully synchronized tests, leveraging GNSS-aided navigation for precision in every maneuver.

The Driving Robot is your gateway to reliable vehicle testing, combining safety, precision, and ease of use in one compact, integrated solution. Discover how it can transform your testing capabilities and streamline your processes today.

Software
  • Test scenario generation – selection: intuitive GUI guides the user through the selection of predefined scenarios or in the creation of new ones.
  • Test scenario execution: the Humanetics UFObase Software functions as a control center for up to nine Humanetics active safety robots. This allows very complex traffic simulation scenarios where multiple vehicles are synchronized to each other to assess performance.
  • Test evaluation: tailored test evaluation solutions are available within the Humanetics software portfolio. From a simple plot of the test data to an automatic evaluation of test scenarios, the user can choose the solution that best suits their needs.
