The VDI meeting "Vehicle Safety" is one of the most important exchange forums for experts from the passive safety sector. Every two years, experts under the direction of Professor Dr.-Ing. Rodolfo Schöneburg from Daimler and Professor Dr.-Ing. Steffen Müller from TU Berlin current questions from the development of vehicle safety.

A new phase of vehicle safety begins with the 2030 Road Safety Programme of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure and the EU-formulated "Vision Zero" by 2050. This year, the VDI meeting "Vehicle Safety" will focus on the challenges on the road to vehicle safety in 2030. The trends of future vehicle generations will be discussed in the specialist lectures as well as in the discussion rounds and active sessions.
